The Legal Warehouse

We believe lawyers in Africa should have all the resources they need to help businesses flourish

So we created The Legal Warehouse, an inspired space that offers lawyers a shared space to work, private meeting rooms, a robust digital library, practice management software, a medical aid subscription, high speed internet, a bar and shared support staff.

Our magic ingredients for
lawyer success

A Shared Space

Unlike renting an office in a commercial building that you might not afford when starting out, you pay a monthly membership fee, giving you an easy way to go solo and the ability to build your practice at your own pace. The Legal Warehouse also allows large law firms to scale without the need to expand their current space or invest in long term leases for larger office space.

Confidentiality and Privacy Guaranteed

We know that lawyers have specialized needs related to client confidentiality and privacy. So, at the Legal Warehouse, every member is a lawyer or legal professional and is required to sign an NDA. The Legal Warehouse also offers dedicated work spaces for use when discussing client sensitive information and lockable storage available to secure client-sensitive information.

Shared Office Staff

One of the biggest barrier to going solo or running a small practice is the high cost of hiring employees such as secretaries and clerks, that you might not even fully utilise when starting out on your own. The Legal Warehouse has shared and trained staff, including legal secretaries, court clerks, messengers and legal interns to help you get started with building your practice.

Free Practice Management Software

The days of running your practice from a paper diary are over. With the Legal Warehouse, you get practice management tools to manage and bill your clients from your smartphone. You can also go green and save on stationery overheads by collaborating with your clients and your team through the Legal Warehouse practice management software.

Medical Aid with your subscription

One nerve-wracking thing about branching out and starting your own firm is health insurance. With the Legal Warehouse, your membership includes a subscription to a medical aid program that you can optionally extend to your immediate dependents. With your health taken care of, you can focus on building the practice you have always wanted.

Library and high speed internet

We know the importance of research in legal practice, whether you are drafting a complex agreement or you are preparing for court. We also know that small law firms find it hard and expensive to invest in a law library early on. We have created a robust digital library, with books, law reports, drafting guides and other resources to help you stay ahead.

Why the Legal Warehouse matters for Access to Justice

Cut law firm overheads + Free Legal Tech = Affordable Justice

Affordable justice

We believe that by helping small law firms cut operational costs, they can continue to provide accessible and affordable legal services to the ordinary person on the street.

UN SDG16 on justice for all

With 1 billion new justice problems across the world each year, the current system of delivering justice is failing to cope, and we need to reinvent it if we are to achieve UN SDG16 on justice for all.
