LawBasket co-founder Nyasha Makamba recently joined the So Creative Summit held in Harare, Zimbabwe. The summit is home to young social and creative entrepreneurs and hub managers from Mauritius, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, Botswana and Mozambique, and was held between March 4 and 7 2020.
SoCreative Summit is a platform that connects social and creative entrepreneurs together with their counterparts in the hub community space for collaborative growth towards resilient economic impact in their regions. The theme for this summit was; “Defining a growth culture for Southern African Social and Creative Hubs as well as their users.”
Nyasha was invited to the summit due to his work with hub managers with LawBasket Law Clinics, where LawBasket lawyers interact with hub members to give free practical legal advice on start-ups. During the summit. Nyasha managed to open up new connections with hubs across the continent, where LawBasket plans to roll out its law clinics.
